Robben Island

Robben Island is an island located in Table Bay, 6.9 kilometers west of the coast of Bloubergstrand, north of Cape Town city central, South Africa. It takes its name from the Dutch word for seals, hence the Dutch/Afrikaans name Robben Eiland, which translates to Seal Island. This island is famous for housing political prisoners such as Nelson Mandela, which is now with a museum.

Table Mountain

Table Mountain is a naturally shaped flat-topped mountain and is a world-renowned landmark overlooking the city of Cape Town in South Africa. Flanked by Devil’s Peak and Lion’s Head, Table Mountain makes up the northern end of the Cape Fold Mountain range. Table Mountain is the most iconic landmark of South Africa.
